          March 20, 2006 General Meeting Minutes

    The VMICC meeting was called to order on Monday, March 20,2006 by President Jim English at 7:30pm.  in the courtroom of Courthouse Square, Vashon Island. Vice President Joan Sells, Clerk Mark Meyers, Board Members: Jean Bosch , Marilyn Omey, Jolene Lamb, Jack Barbash, Marilyn Omey, and Robin Hess were present, along with visitors and council members.

* The VMICC minutes for February 20, 2006 were approved.
* The agenda for March 20, 2006 VMICC  meeting were approved.
* Treasurer’s Report as presented by Jolene Lamb.
   ~ 2006 Budget                 $ 10,000.00
   ~  Actual 3/20/2006         $ 633.98
   ~ Unspent 3/20/2006       $ 9,366.02
  

* Floor Announcements:
 ~ Acknowledgement and thanks were given to Vice President, Joan Sells for her 
     hard work, dedication and commitment of service on the VMICC’s  Board.
~ Announcement of a VMICC board vacancy.


*Committee Reports:
~ Attending committee representatives provided reports.

* Motions:
~ Motion was made for the approval of the appointment of  Mr. Greg Beardsley, 
   Mr. Dean Katz and Mr. Alan Mendel to the Vashon Ferry Advisory Committee.
   Robin Hess moved the motion and it was seconded. Motion Passed

* Presentations:
~ “ Vashon Community Assessment :  Growth Management Benchmarks”
       Presentation Made By: VMICC Economic Chair- Tom Bangasser
        And Committee Representatives & Guests.

~ No Motions / New Business Discussed
