VMICC Youth Advisory Committee Meeting

Items of Discussion:
 a) Harassment and Discrimination- posters are scheduled to go up around the high school to demonstrate the districts new harassment policy and compliance forms- we are pursuing new policy changes and other avenues for stopping harassment in the schools-

 b) The Youth Summit- a survey was written for the students and is awaiting distribution - the survey will determine what areas of focus the youth wish to pursue- The Summit Planning Committee has been founded- a non-vmicc org. Members include the school district administration, various school clubs, the site council and the yac- the Summit planning is now a joint effort between the district and the youth.
