Vashon-Maury Island Community Council (VMICC)
VMICC General Meeting: the Community Council general meeting is held on the third Monday of every month (see calendar) at 7:30PM in the Multi-Purpose Room at McMurray Middle School Contact Jean Bosch, President, JeanBosch@yahoo.com.- This is a public meeting, and all island residents over 18 are entitled to vote on motions before the Council. Meetings are accessible. Reasonable accommodations provided upon request.
- Meeting Agenda: Tenative Agenda for the next VMICC General Meeting (when available). You may also receive the Agenda by email as soon as it is released. To be on the VMICC distribution list, send an email to JeanBosch@yahoo.com. Items to be included on the Agenda are determined at the Executive Board meeting on the first Monday of every month.
- Meeting Minutes: VMICC general meeting minutes are stored in the archives. Because of the random nature of the names of the files the minutes are delivered, the meeting you're looking for may be difficult to find. (Minutes are not official until approved at the next General Meeting.)
- Bylaws and policies ratified by the council govern our operations: VMICC bylaws, VMICC operating policies, election policies, general meeting and board operation policies, committee operation policies
- The main function of this meeting is to set the Agenda for the next General Meeting. This is a public meeting. Please come if you are interested in upcoming agenda items or policy issues. Work other than setting the agenda, that occurs at a Board meeting, can be found in the board meeting minutes. Newest minutes are at the bottom of the list view.
